Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on (Senior) Product Manager (all genders) to join us on a fixed-term, external engagement and help evolve our Shopify-based eCommerce storefronts (e.g. Bravado.de, TheCircle.de).

This role is for a Product Manager (all genders) who has owned eCommerce products end-to-end, actively driven experimentation and CRO, and worked from product discovery through delivery — not someone who primarily manages backlogs or requirements.

You will shape fan-centric digital shopping experiences in the music industry, working closely with Developers, Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Data Analysts. Your work will be grounded in experimentation, learning, and data-informed decision-making, with real ownership over outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for experience and experimentation initiatives across multiple Shopify storefronts
  • Lead hands-on experimentation and CRO, including hypothesis definition, A/B testing, metrics, and learning loops
  • Drive product discovery to deeply understand customer and fan needs before committing to solutions
  • Translate business goals, user insights, and data into clear product priorities and trade-offs
  • Balance local market needs with scalable, platform-oriented product decisions
  • Actively challenge stakeholder assumptions, saying no where needed to protect product outcomes
  • Turn experimentation and insights into measurable, outcome-driven improvements
  • Work closely in a cross-functional setup with Tech, Design, UX Research, and DataProvide transparent updates on progress, outcomes, risks, and learnings

What Makes This Engagement Special

  • High ownership, fast impact, and a clearly defined scope
  • A real opportunity to raise the bar for product and experimentation practices, not just deliver features
  • Strong focus on learning, outcomes, and product judgment over output
  • Ideal for experienced Product Managers who enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Exposure to music-driven, fan-centric commerce across brands and markets

Required Skills & Experience

Product & eCommerce Experience

  • Several years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in eCommerce, D2C, or platform-based environments
  • Proven, hands-on experience owning Shopify-based products or comparable eCommerce platforms
  • Experience managing products across multiple storefronts, brands, or markets

Experience & Experimentation

  • Strong background in experience optimization, CRO, and experimentation-driven product development
  • Practical experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests and experiments
  • Ability to define hypotheses, success metrics, and learning goals, and to act on results

Product Craft & Judgment

  • Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery practices
  • Demonstrated ability to own trade-offs, make decisions under uncertainty, and say no
  • Comfort balancing short-term optimization with long-term product and platform strategy

Collaboration & Communication

  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams with engineering, design, research, and analytics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions constructively
  • Confident communication in English; ability to speak German is an advantage
