Here’s your chance to join! Effective immediately, we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, Streaming Platform (all genders) to become part of our STAGE+ team at our Headquarters in Berlin. It will be a permanent full-time position reporting to our Director of Engineering Streaming Platform.
Your gig:
- Build and ship features for our streaming platform — from idea to production
- Co-maintain our web application from landing pages to streaming player and more
- Take part in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical decisions
- Work in a self-organized team that relies on clear communication and practical engineering
- Share your knowledge when it’s helpful
- Closely collaborate with our other teams working on other platforms (iOS/Android/SmartTV etc.)
We are keen to jam with you if you:
- Are experienced with modern web technologies (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Web APIs)
- Have a good grasp of software engineering fundamentals and code quality practices (e.g., component-driven approach, end-to-end testing, avoiding premature abstraction); ideally your also experienced with CI/CD, observability and cloud environments
- Possess the ability to analyze complex problems and make sound technical decisions
- Feel confident and natural reading, writing, and speaking English and can communicate efficiently in tech as well as business-related contexts; German skills are a plus, but the willingness is to learn the language is a must
