 You'll be a part of Design and Insights within Beats & Bytes, supporting in shaping the experience of UMG's direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business enablement products. With the drive of excellence in craft, strategic product thinking and iterative mindset, you'll get to tackle and solve challenges within the ever-changing landscape of music and tech, and influence products that impacts internal colleagues but also millions of fans around the world.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You'll work closely with your colleagues from Design and Insights to support them in their cross-disciplinary collaboration with product, engineering and marketing
  • You'll support throughout the product development process: From analyzing the underlying jobs-to-be-done of different audience types to defining and testing solutions, championing customer-centricity and ensuring the quality of standard of products experiences
  • You'll help prepare, run and evaluate co-creation workshops and sessions with product teams, stakeholders and users
  • You'll contribute to initiatives (e.g. strategy, consistency, UX metrics) that drives UX maturity within and across the department, evangelizing the impact of design and research
  • You'll help build and improve design systems, scaling for global use and empowering teams to move faster

 

We are keen to jam with you if you:

  • You're actively enrolled as a student in an academic program in the fields of human computer interactions, product design and technology
  • You are enthusiastic about product design, keeping up with new trends and tooling, and embracing the journey of taking risks and learning continuously
  • You can demonstrate structured conceptual thinking and execution, as well as how to communicate it effectively
  • You value building strong relationships and within and beyond product teams to drive collaboration
  • You excel in creating clear, intuitive and appealing interfaces as well as prototyping and workshopping using Figma and collaboration tools (e.g. Lucid, Miro)
  • You are proficient in English (German is a bonus)
