Data is a critical part of how we develop products, it serves as a strong driver for understanding how our products are performing and the corresponding causality.
Here’s your chance to join! Effective as of now, we’re looking for a working student (all genders) to become part of our Beats & Bytes tech organization as a product analyst in the eCommerce team.
This is what you can learn here:
- You will get a chance to learn how data and insights impact product decisions, product strategy, engineering and ways that data can help shape the customers’ experience in eCommerce and beyond
- You will gain experience in product development processes including how data analysis empowers budding experimental culture – from test design to post analysis during this process
- You will learn A/B testing and other experimental methods
- How to use visualization tools to tell inspiring stories with data, use experimentation to build edge opportunities that can be leveraged to make impactful decisions
- You will also learn the B3S way – working in a creative and supportive cross functional team across our customer facing and internal back-office applications
What you will be doing:
- Visualize performance of our products by aggregating data from different sources to measure their success
- Setup A/B tests, analyze the results and share data backed recommendations for new features or improvements
- Translate customer insights and signals to research questions
- Develop in-depth analytical user understanding, document learnings and related research processes
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies in product analytics and share them with the broader eCommerce team
We would like to meet you if
- You are currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program
- You have a passion for data, product insights and value a fast paced business environment working with a cross-functional team
- You already have basic knowledge of data transformation in SQL and Python, experience with data visualization tools
- You have strong interest in A/B Tests (prior experience is a plus)
- You have some experience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, knowledge of any other visualization tool is a plus
- Great verbal and written communication skills in English with a detail oriented and self-starter mindset and good German skills is desired)
- Prior experience working as an entry level product analyst is a plus
- You are a team player, and you have strong desire for continuous learning and growth
